Speaker 1:So let's start off by describing and dissecting this Mars-Uranus conjunction that's coming up. Describing and dissecting this Mars-Uranus conjunction that's coming up. So, in astrology, mars has signifiers of violence, war, destruction, but oftentimes, on a personal level, it can really deal with desire, our libido, our drive, our motivation and also the impulse to enter into a conflict with others. Like Mars, is a very adversarial planet. You think about even Mars in the sky. It's that red planet. It has this sort of foreboding energy and symbolism to it and so, as the god of war, anytime Mars is linking up with another planet, it's going to sort of intensify it and also sort of agitate the energy of that other planet. So if you have, let's say, in the sky, you know, mars aligning with Venus, on the one hand you know you could have the higher expression of Mars allowing for the initiation of a new relationship, which is Venus, or you kick-starting a new creative project, which is, you know, venus is creative, but it can also stoke a lot of chaos and conflict in a relationship. You could feel a little bit more like you want to be independent, you want to be away from someone, or you feel like someone who was your ally is suddenly an opponent. So Mars has that type of effect. And oftentimes Mars has this effect which is like very rapid and very it's instantaneous. It can happen, you know, very suddenly. So Mars can lead to impulsive and reckless actions in a lot of ways where you know, if you think about Mars, even in the sort of sort of the temperance of Mars is, I mean Mars, even in the sort of the temperance of Mars is, I mean, it's like hot and dry. So I think about Mars as like a sudden fire, you know. Sudden, you know, and also even like the idea of like severing a connection, like suddenly, and Mars can suddenly lead to something like violence. So anytime you have a transit of Mars, it's a call for some amount of caution.
Speaker 1:So Mars has an orbital cycle of under two years. In this case, mars is al upending systems and structures and whereas Saturn the planet closer to the sun from Uranus has this impulse to sort of cohere and conform or maybe the impulse is the wrong word, but, like Saturn definitely appreciates conformity Uranus is the planet of reform and rebellion and revolution. So Mars and Uranus form a conjunction approximately every two years. Again, given the fact that Mars has an orbital cycle, in terms of like a sidereal cycle, it's just under two years and Uranus moves very slowly compared to Mars. So their conjunctions align give or take every two years, although it varies, of course.
Speaker 1:One of the most notable that I wanted to point out in recent times was January 2021. We had Mars and Uranus squaring Saturn and Aquarius and during that time, uranus squaring Saturn and Aquarius and during that time, there was definitely a you know, that was in the middle of the pandemic. That was when they were rolling out like new programs and people were feeling very confined at that time. And, of course, we also had the last conjunction, august 1st 2022. That's when Mars and Uranus were again in Taurus, but also conjunct the North Node and squaring Saturn theory of you know sort of the theory underpinning this.
Speaker 1:We have this idea of sudden conflict, sudden rebellion, sudden, um, you know, a sudden sort of uprising or a sudden upheaval or sudden violence. Uh, and then also in the sign of taurus, which very much deals with, like the earth and the land, we have this concept around like earthquakes and, you know, maybe I mean I could even see like power outages occurring. You know, cybersecurity threats, with Taurus being the land. Cybersecurity threats are not necessarily the focus always, but I still think, with Uranus very much being about technology, like anytime I've seen Mars in Aquarius, for example, which is Uranus's sign, I've noticed that there can be, um, you know, sort of uh hacks, glitches. I remember there was one in 2022 when, even like Spotify shut down for a day, and I think that was together. It is that classic expect the unexpected.
Speaker 1:But what I want to just caution right away with these predictions is that sometimes Uranus doesn't really play out in the way that we expect. 2022, with Mars, uranus and the North Node, myself and other astrologers were kind of wondering okay, with the North Node being also aligned and the North Node having a lot to do with karma, fate, destiny. You know, there was a theory that maybe this would be suddenly this acceleration of the ascension journey or there would be this revolutionary impulse taking over, but honestly, like there wasn't really anything noteworthy when I was going back, at least, there was nothing noteworthy in the news and definitely nothing that deserved any kind of major hype around that transit. So we just want to make sure that you know, as astrologers like, there's always a little bit of a consideration here of like. Well, let's not be hyperbolic about this, but I do think that this conjunction is different, and it's really because, number one, we're now in the Capricorn rule decan of Taurus, or the Capricorn decan of Taurus, sorry, and this is actually ruled by Saturn in both the triplicity rulership and the Chaldean Order. So Saturn is ruling this decan of Taurus, and the last conjunction was in the second decan of Taurus, which is a Virgo decan, which has a lot more to do with health, and obviously in 2022, that was still a theme health in the collective, but this time around, in the Capricorn decan of Taurus, we're dealing a lot with like systems and structures.
Speaker 1:So the Mars-Uranus conjunction certainly can create disruptions to sort of long-standing institutions with specific traditions, and it doesn't necessarily mean that those systems would be demolished overnight, but there could be sort of an activist movement pushing against a certain governing body or a certain organization, or there could be someone within an organization who plays a very disruptive role. And in this case we do have the Mars-Uranus conjunction forming very close to the Republican National Convention, and actually during the Republican National Convention, I should say on July 15th. And this conjunction is close to Donald Trump's midheaven, which really pertains to his, you know, public image, reputation and so on. So I'm seeing the possibility here of like, maybe Donald Trump announces a certain platform at the convention that is disruptive in the sense that it does not align Because, again, uranus does not play by traditional rules. It may be like that the Republican platform is very out of step with what, like, the entrenched Republicans want to see.
Speaker 1:So maybe, you know, trump would unveil a certain policy that's radical. And it's hard to say radical in what direction? Right Like, is it more progressive than they expect on? Maybe like a social issue, and I would expect something like that. By the way, I think there are certain social issues in the Republican Party where there's a lot of disagreement, of course, whether that is abortion or same-sex marriage create a lot of discord within the party. Like, maybe Trump sort of takes a certain stance on something that again is out of step with what the mainline sort of party representatives want.
Speaker 1:But also, this conjunction is aligned with the algol, which is a fixed star, and this star is the demon star quote unquote and it's associated with Medusa and, as you can imagine, if it's tied to that myth, there would be, you know, associations with Algol of like violence and misfortune and bad. Alongside that fixed star in that third decan of Taurus, it is a harbinger of some amount of mayhem and chaos and pandemonium. The Republican National Convention gives me even more confidence that there probably is some type of shock and awe where it's. Maybe it's his VP pick, right Like he's going to announce his VP pick at the convention, and the nature of Uranus just being a little bit more progressive than expected, a little bit more, you know, trying to push people towards the future and not like sort of again, not embracing the status quo opinion that would suggest that Trump's VP pick would likely sort of surprise the whatever the betting odds are right now, which I think is the betting odds are sort of favoring the North Dakota governor. I still think that, you know, maybe Trump would pick someone who's like very young and youthful and represents maybe like a little bit more of like the younger generations. It's no guarantee, though. It could be Iranian. They could be Iranian in a different sense, like maybe they're coming out of the tech industry or maybe they have a much just like a much firmer understanding of like modern sort of yeah, just like modern technology and like where our world is headed, like they understand like AI, or they understand the implications of AI, like something, someone like that. But again, it could just be that the candidate is very surprising. So the timeline for this conjunction is really now, so July 8th through July 20th, which is when Mars goes into Gemini, but really all the way up until July 20th, we have this conjunction very much in effect. So you know, again, I think that we could just see either as a vice presidential candidate in that party, someone who underscores the idea of, you know, being a disruptor.
Speaker 1:And you know, originally I was wondering if this had something to do with his sentencing. But his sentencing actually got pushed back and postponed from July 11th to September 18th, which, by the way, is the day after a lunar eclipse, a partial lunar eclipse in Pisces. So his you know, you have to wonder what these types of postponings and schedulings if again there are people who understand astrology at the top, because if I wanted to create the utmost chaos I would push his sentencing to an eclipse like either September 17th or October 2nd. So they've done that and who knows, maybe it'll get postponed to the solar eclipse. But so originally my sort of predictions had a lot to do with, like maybe his sentencing would be unexpectedly harsher, like harsher than expected, and that that would create a lot of discord at the convention. But I still think that there will be plenty of that at the convention in different ways.
Speaker 1:So maybe it's through his VP pick, through his platform, just sort of again like feeling completely out of step with, you know, the mainline and traditional interests in the party and you know there is, with Mars and Uranus, the possibility just to underscore this, like you know, maybe some sudden earthquakes, maybe sudden violence, maybe, like Mars and Uranus combined, is very explosive, very explosive. And we also have Venus opposite Pluto around that conjunction July 15th, so possibly in Taurus, with that conjunction of Mars and Uranus, a bit of a financial shock, although you know the markets tend to be more stable in the summer. Summer is a more quiet season, but it still could just be something in the news about. Well, interest rates are more of a problem, or inflation is more of a problem than we expect, or the housing market is in a precarious position more of a problem than we expect, or the housing market is in a precarious position. You know you could see announcements like that and then even maybe some changes in the price of, like certain cryptocurrencies, or also some pushback from like maybe the BRICS nations against the US dollar. Questions about the US dollar stability in the long run. Because if you think about, like Pluto being an Aquarius at the same time, you know the last cycle of Pluto and Aquarius, we had the US dollar, we had the creation of the US dollar, and so you know you have to wonder if, like again. Not that the currency is going away I'm not trying to be hyperbolic but there could just be a new phase that we're entering with like again, maybe if the US dollar like, what does it mean if the US dollar is no longer the default sort of currency, tied to the price of oil? You know the petrodollar.
Speaker 1:Now, on a personal level, you know, after the Saturn-Neptune retrograde, a lot of people may be frustrated by the shattered reality, you know, of Saturn, neptune retrograde in Pisces, fantasies suddenly not holding up, you know, realizing that maybe we were addicted to the dopamine rush of something, maybe we were caught up in a fantasy and that now we have to make adjustments. So a lot of you are probably grappling with, okay, is there any magic left in this job that I have? Is there any magic left in, like you know, my relationship? Are my friends truly supportive or are they, you know, just, was I just? Were they just friends with me for reasons of like, convenience, or was it superficial? So like, right now a lot of people are feeling like the bubble has burst and I think Mars, uranus is just kind of a.
Speaker 1:It's a really difficult juxtaposition with these retrogrades because people are suddenly feeling, like you know, extremely destabilized by that. So it's like I thought that I was in this sort of amniotic fluid and I thought I was inside of this really warm sanctuary, a safe space with this person, or this job was, you know, everything I wanted it to be. And then suddenly you get an assignment that you know is completely passionless and it feels lifeless and it feels like grunt work. You have a lot of responsibilities in your relationship that you didn't expect or you didn't want, or maybe you know, even if, like, health related, maybe it's like you've been, um, you know how you've, you've enjoyed like a certain lifestyle and you thought, oh, this is fine with me, like there's no effect on my body to eat this or that or, um, to get a dopamine rush from this, uh, like, so for a lot of people it is.
Speaker 1:I think it's a health-related transit. So you know, but whatever is being shattered here, whatever expectation is being shattered, whatever reality is just coming through that mirage, it probably feels a little bit harsh, and so Mars, uranus, at the same time, is just creating this sort of like pent-up. You know, anger, really, and it's like this anger of like, why wasn't this? Why didn't I realize this in the past or why did I allow my fantasies to just run rampant? So I think that that is creating a little bit of strife in the collective. So you've potentially had some dopamine crashes lately where it's like suddenly you know again, like a something that you derived a lot of joy and almost gotten a high from is no longer giving you that high. So think about what that is. And a lot of those things that were giving you a high are suddenly creating, maybe damage or they're damaging you or they're creating a feeling of tension in your life. So July is a tough month astrologically. Just make that known. So don't feel like you're alone in that.
Speaker 1:There's a lot of confusion right now with that Saturn, neptune retrograde in Pisces, and I talked about that in past episodes, but we are reaching the end of a cycle that began in 1989. So you can even see that through our you know, our current president, joe Biden, sort of you know, or I thought that this person was going to lead us forward, but they're actually not capable of that right now, and you saw in the interview he did with ABC that he was sick. Well, it's like, of course, you can see that someone would feel sick at that time there was a Pisces moon right before Saturn, retrograde. Like you know, you don't, you would never want to, you know. I mean that. I mean that to me is just like the definition of like feeling like sort of exasperated and so, but I think that that really set a new tone in this, in this country of like, well, okay, we need to like reevaluate our options. We need to reevaluate, like, what is our long-term vision? It's like, is this the person to lead the nation, like you know, and that's what the Democratic Party is asking right now.
Speaker 1:So I think everyone on a personal level is dealing with their own sort of dashed expectations and the disillusion of their own fantasies and you know that's again creating that frustration. So just don't move too quickly in July in general, but especially around this conjunction. You know, anger, frustration, like, just don't let it boil up. Just be really candid with people, be very transparent with people and say like, hey, like you know, like with your manager, I'm not happy with the assignment I have right now. I'm not sure, like, where this job is going. Like, with your manager, I'm not happy with the assignment I have right now, I'm not sure, like, where this job is going, um, can we talk about, like, you know, resetting my goals or expectations? If you're in a relationship just saying like, hey, um, you know, I'm not satisfied in this area, can we just talk about it? So, as long as you're open, I think you'll realize that everyone is kind of going through that same, those same motions right now, and I think that can help you arrive at a solution.
Speaker 1:And, yeah, so again, just with Mars and Uranus, just kind of roll with the twists and turns of that. There is an inherently unexpected nature to these two planets. With Mars and Uranus, again, sudden bursts of chaos, sudden bursts of anger, sudden bursts of frustration, impatience, sudden, you know, crashes in the stock market, sudden wildfires, you know, sudden earthquakes, you know, don't, you know, obviously don't contribute to that chaos. But like just kind of like mark July 15th plus or minus a few days on your calendar and just really like take it easy and take it slow, because the collective is speeding forward already at such a rapid clip that it's like really hard for people, I think, to find any kind of like cohesion or coherence right now. So, um, I know that not everybody has the ability to just like randomly take paid time off, but if you have that ability, I would. I would take some time off, like around July 15th, if you can, or at least don't overschedule yourself, because the more rushed you feel, the more you're going to buy into that transit and, um, you're going to feel rushed anyways, Like even if you're just like lounging by a lake, like you're still going to feel like there's a bit of a restlessness. So, you know, again, just give yourself some downtime. So and I guess, just to finish this off this section, like, just know that like I think August, I do think August is an improvement from July.
Speaker 1:I think that May and June were honestly two of the best months in 2024. It does vary, of course, by what chart you have, but I just want to be like honest with you. I think that May and June were probably some of the better months. Now, don't like again. Like don't use that as a reason to reason, to like lose hope. I'm not saying that the rest of your year will be bad, but a lot of the momentum has been sort of concentrated in the first half of the year. We had a lot of planets direct and we're starting to get the retrogrades. Eventually, mars will retrograde in Leo, so in the collective the ride is a bit bumpier in the second half of 2024. And I think that the Mars-Uranus conjunction is very much the catalyst and the inflection point that creates that instability. But that doesn't mean that you have to mirror the collective and what the collective is going through.
Speaker 1:So it's like if you, if you set that, so, if you just have that knowledge about what the world is going through, you can set a different expectation for yourself. You can set the expectation that, okay, I'm going to take the second half of the year to really not attach myself to the things that are breaking down right, attach myself to really nothing. I mean just accept that and maybe this would even be a worthy exercise. Just go through, like, what am I attached to? What do I feel is core to my identity from a social standpoint? Things so like do you really need to like live in that specific apartment or whatever? Like, are you over-reliant on that space or that relationship to feel like? You like to feel that Piscean bliss?
Speaker 1:Um, like, I think I mean, really discipline is the key right now, like, with these retrogrades, it's like the more that you can like take away and take out of your sort of like, like, I mean the more, the less reliant you are basically on certain habits that you know are bad for you or certain relationships that you know are again completely delusional, like, the less reliant you are, especially on like escapist types of behaviors, the better off you're going to be right now. So, like, this would be a great time if you want to get sober, to get sober, if you want to again assess, like, do I have a dopamine addiction? Great time to assess that. Like, where do I have unhealthy attachments? So it's like, if you remove unhealthy attachments from your life during this time, then this conjunction of mars and uranus and all the transits that are coming up, it's like you're just gonna keep growing and maturing and realizing that there's a different type of anchor that you're um, that you're holding on to, and the anchor is you know, it's eternal, it's timeless, it's non-material. It doesn't mean you can't be grounded in something, but like, yeah, I think the more over-leveraged you are in the domain of like, again, escapist tendencies and withdrawing in an unhealthy way, the more invested you are in that side of things, the rougher 2024 is going to be. The more honest you are with yourself, the less dependent you are on again, any types of habits or behaviors or substances that numb you. The less reliant you are on those, then the more successful you'll be this year and anyway. So again, allow the Mars-Uranus conjunction to play out as it will. In the collective, I do think it will be a bit of an upsetting transit, but for you, as long as you slow down, you're still going to feel that impulse to suddenly reinvent and change something about your life, and it could be a very sudden change, but it could be for the better. Even if Uranus is unexpected Like Mars and Uranus could be like no, I suddenly want to live this life, you know, more authentically, more autonomously, and step into my true power. So that's you know. Deep. Dive into that conjunction Now, before I step into the theory of the degrees in your birth chart and how to actually make predictions without even looking at transits, just to remind you, my sub stack, my newsletter, is the place you want to go if you want to get an even deeper look at global predictions, guidelines for the new and full moons and educational content.
Speaker 1:Also, you should follow me on my channels, my other channels like TikTok, instagram and YouTube, and you know there's a lot more content coming in the future as well. For example, I'll have more courses to announce and at the end of the year, just to give you a preview of this, my 2025 forecasts are also coming. So definitely look ahead to those, because those will definitely give you the deepest dive possible really into the upcoming year, because in my annual forecasts, I look at every new and full moon from the perspective of each rising sign and sun and moon sign, so that will be also mapping out when our planet is retrograding. When are you going to have the most momentum? When are planets retrograding? When are you going to have the most momentum? What are the key dates that you want to pay attention to, with not only the new and full moons to really lock yourself into the manifestation cycle, but also when are the key retrograde dates?
Speaker 1:So now let's talk about how you can use the degrees in your birth chart to actually make predictions. So there are astrologers in the past who have come up with their own degree theories. For example, we have the concept of like the first degree is an Aries degree, you know, and we also talk about like the 29th degree is an anaretic degree. Of course, the degrees are important for a number of reasons. But there are also ways that you can look at the degrees to actually predict the ages when certain themes will come up for you. And this degree theory that I've developed has been instrumental for me in like doing sessions for clients and predicting the future, and doing so without again looking at where the planets are at any given time. So you'll want to have your birth chart by your side and reference where the degrees are.
Speaker 1:I know that some astrology apps and even websites they don't show the degrees. I have a huge problem with that. Like, just go to a website that shows the degrees. I typically recommend astrocom, so you know you can go there and that will actually show you where in the sky in terms of the degree your planets are and you know there are 360 degrees in the zodiac wheel and 12 degree your planets are. And you know there are 360 degrees in the zodiac wheel and 12,. You know 12 equally partitioned zodiac signs, so they're occupying 30 degrees each and you know the degrees will help an astrologer understand with a certain amount of precision, like, where exactly is that planet? Is it a partile square, meaning an exact square? Is it in the orb of influence, to be in a square aspect, which would be five to six degrees approximately, and so on.
Speaker 1:So the degrees are essential. You want to know exactly where the planets are placed and not just what zodiac sign they're in. So the degrees add a level of specificity that is crucial, is crucial. But each degree, in the theory that I've developed, holds a special significance in determining the chronology and the timing of major years of your life. And you know it's really a conversion system. So you can take the degrees in your chart where you have actual placements like planets and celestial bodies. You can take that celestial body, track what degree it's at.
Speaker 1:So let's say you have the moon at 15 degrees of Taurus. You would take the degree, you'd reference that degree and then convert it to age. So 15 degrees, 15 years old, and what that would show is at that age that planet would play a formative role throughout that year and it's in accordance with, like the actual manifestation of, that is sort of aligned with the sign that the planet is in the house, it's in the aspects it's making to other planets. So basically you just you first of all look at the degree, do the age conversion and then you really look into all. Then you basically do an assessment of the characteristics, all the characteristics of that planet and the way that you know, within each sign it only goes up to 29 degrees, 59 minutes. So, and that small number? By the way, if you're looking at your chart, the small number next to the degree is the minutes. So you're seeing the actual degree, the minutes, and you can even drill it down to the seconds, but we're only focusing on the degrees, which is that bigger number in this case. So once a planet reaches 29 degrees in 59 minutes, it would next go into, like the zero degree of the next sign, into transit.
Speaker 1:But in your birth chart, if you have, let's say, a planet at five degrees, it's not enough to just say well, age five, that planet played a dominant role in your life. You actually have to add 30 years to get the next cycle. So this is a cyclical motion, like anything in astrology. So if you have a planet at five degrees, then that planet would be in the foreground of your consciousness at age five, 35, 65, 95. And, who knows, 125, if Elon Musk invents, some know, age-resistant neural link sort of technology. But you know, that's really how the system works.
Speaker 1:And at first, when I was starting to think about this, I was like, well, it seems like nonsense but it really actually well. Number one, it's played out accurately in my readings. But number two, astrology, really just, it rests on the principle of synchronicity, you know, and interlocking patterns and cycles and you know the idea, in my opinion, of like a fractal universe where there's sort of an implicate order. There are patterns everywhere that you can see and you can see how they cohere. So, just as the actual constellations that you can see in the sky are not literally represented in the zodiac wheel because it's in a tropical zodiac system, it's really symbolic. The zodiac signs are symbolic and tethered to the equinox and solstice points. So we already track symbolic time as astrologers.
Speaker 1:So to have the degrees, to use the degrees as a conversion system, I think is very sensible. And if you even think about like secondary progressions, which is a timing technique, we take, you know, one year and convert it to one day after your birth. So, like when you're five years old, your progress chart shows, you know, five days after your birth. So with astrology're five years old, your progress chart shows, you know, five days after your birth. So with astrology, we do all these synchronistic conversions. You know we do, we practice this consistently. So I think that these types of degree theories are completely, you know, are sound.
Speaker 1:So, just to walk through this, you know the significations, or there's a sort of again significance to each planet, each planet. When you apply this degree theory, each planet will play out differently, in accordance, again, with the meaning of that planet in our psyche. So if you were to track the degree of your moon, that would indicate changes in your emotions, your home, your family or even with, like the mother. The degree of your Mercury would indicate the age at which your mindset would change. It can deal with contracts and it can deal with also driving. So I've seen, you know, mercury placements.
Speaker 1:At that degree there's something and not to scare anyone, but like there could be, like maybe someone experienced an accident if they have Mercury opposite Mars or something, and sometimes these degrees, by the way, when you convert it to age, it actually plays out within your family. So maybe if you have Venus at five degrees and we'll talk about Venus right now the degree of Venus would show pivotal changes in your relationships, your income, your creativity, if you have Venus at five degrees. It's not that you start a relationship at that age, way back when it could be that your parents experienced a massive financial change. Or, for example, if you have the moon at 10 degrees, maybe you moved homes at 10 years old. Or maybe, depending on the aspects, if your moon is squaring Saturn and they're both at 10 degrees, maybe at the age of 10, you had a grandparent pass away or maybe, you know, maybe there was a divorce in the family. So the sun, the degree of the sun, would show changes in self-expression, changes in your outward projection of your identity and even changes to the father. The sun is the father in your early life typically, but the sun can also just represent the father.
Speaker 1:A year in which the themes of Mars are, you know, playing a major role. So you know the themes of like around action, aggression, anger, violence, sudden change, sudden, sometimes sudden negative change, but also it could be, like you know, athletics and strength and courage. And then we also have the degree of Jupiter showing potential opportunities that come up at that age, changes related to travel and education. So I've seen examples where Jupiter conjuncts someone's moon at the same degree, let's say it's 20 degrees. Now, at the age of 20, they move across the world because Jupiter can deal with overseas travel.
Speaker 1:Saturn degrees will show an age when you experience setbacks, delays, maturity, responsibility and sometimes isolation. I mean the Saturn degree if you convert that to age, that year I've seen pan out a lot of times where people feel isolated, people feel disconnected, people feel maybe sometimes again, saturn, I've noticed, will be like, you know, the elders in our lives. So sometimes Saturn, the Saturn degree, is when a grandparent passes. But also Saturn can be a time where you know you are maturing very quickly. It's almost like a mini Saturn return. Now the degree of Uranus can show sudden pivots, reinvention and liberation.
Speaker 1:The degree of Neptune can show spirituality, disillusion, sleep, sleep issues maybe, or even changes in health. I've noticed, and you know, changes in the way that you work with like the medical system I mean. So I remember, around my Neptune degree. You know there was a time in my, when I look at my Neptune degree of age 12, that was a time period in which I experienced some like very unexplainable health issues that doctors could not really figure out or diagnose. And Neptune is very much about confusion and uncertainty but also it has a lot to do with like pharmaceuticals and the medical industry. So you know. Other times those Neptune degrees will just be like spiritual awakenings or, you know, again, feelings of being a little bit feeling a little bit lost, and then we have pluto.
Speaker 1:The degree of pluto can indicate transformation, rebirth, uh, changes in your investments, changes in obsessions, and not to scare people because it doesn't always play out this way, but sometimes the degree of pluto I have noticed when you convert it to age, you know, people have I have seen like with celebrities and other people like that sometimes it does indicate or people have passed during a degree activation of their Pluto, but it doesn't always happen, so don't want you to freak out. And people experience a degree activation of their Pluto every 30 years. So, like, I'll just give you an example when I was 17 years old, that's when my Pluto degree was activated at 17 degrees, was activated at 17 degrees at age 17. Yes, I had mono and I had other something else on top of it and I was dealing with a breakup and like it was a really tough year but, um, I didn't feel like there was any danger uh, to my, to my life or anything. So I don't don't want you to freak out there. Um, and of course I see clients every day who've had their Pluto degree activated.
Speaker 1:But just like broad, broadly speaking, in my research I have noticed that sometimes the Pluto degree is sort of, like you could argue, is like the sort of endpoint of someone's evolution in this lifetime. If they've chosen to stop evolving. Maybe is the theory there and you can also see, like the progressed moon, when the progressed moon sometimes opposes Pluto, that can also indicate someone passing and maybe they again the revolutionary journey in this lifetime has ended. But again people experience a Pluto moon opposition every 27 odd years in the, you know, in a sidereal cycle of a progress moon. So don't worry about it. But I just want to share, of course, that these degrees are very powerful activation points.
Speaker 1:When we look at the degree of Chiron, you know Chiron is the wounded healer. We do have themes around health, healing, vulnerability and sometimes trauma. So the degree of your Chiron, sometimes it does indicate a health issue. But I've also noticed, for example, like Chironiron, maybe someone has chiron and gemini at 10 degrees and like maybe at age 10 they had difficulty with a sibling which would be represented by gemini, they have, um, a speech impediment. Gemini is very much about speech. Or chiron and leo at 15 degrees. Maybe age 15 someone was like taken away from their creative passions. But chiron is also the healing, the energy of healing. So maybe the next cycle around at 45, 15 plus 30, you really heal that relationship to your creativity, you reinvest in your creativity. So it doesn't have to be a negative connotation.
Speaker 1:The degree of your North Node has a lot to do with destiny, growth and fate. So, for example, my North Node is at zero degrees. At age zero I didn't find my destiny, of course, but at age 30, that's when I started to study astrology, so definitely was on a clear path at that point. So you know I haven't researched these placements as much, but the degree of your ascendant could indicate changes in like your persona, your identity, the way you really like, the way you experience the world around you. And the degree of your midheaven could indicate changes in your career, your career path. But I just want to emphasize the ascendant and midheaven degrees. The descendant degree, the IC degree, is not something that I have focused on as much, but the other degrees I mentioned of those other planetary bodies or aspects or points are consistent, they consistently pan out.
Speaker 1:So just kind of again go through that rubric and then again add 30 years to get the next cycle. So if you know, if you're in your 40s or 50s, like you're going to be able to look at the this, this sort of repeat, the repetition of these cycles, and a lot of times what I've noticed is like the first time a planet is activated in this degree, theory is a little bit more of your reaction. You're reacting to it because it's like a new expression and you could even argue that sometimes the planet in your chart it's not like fully dormant until that degree is activated, but it definitely like you become more conscious of it at that degree point. So maybe you have Mars at 28 degrees and it's like you haven't found your full vitality until 28. Or maybe your Venus is at 27 degrees and it's not until age 27 that you really figure out how to navigate a relationship. Or there is a relationship that you know you end up marrying that person. So I'll just give you some examples from my own chart just to walk you through this. So, for example, my moon is at nine degrees of Scorpio and Scorpio has a lot to do with mystery and I've noticed a lot of Scorpio moons in my own research. Either have been adopted or there's an adoption in the family or a secret in the family. My Mars is also at nine degrees of Gemini in the 12th house and Mars can, in the 12th house, be hidden masculine figures in a lot of ways. So when both of those planets are at nine degrees it's like well age nine. Something probably big happened in my family with that moon especially, and at age nine my dad met his biological parents. So I found that to be informative.
Speaker 1:Now we can look at Mercury. Mercury and Uranus in my chart are both at seven degrees, age seven. That's when I picked up the violin. Mercury is the hands and skill sets and Uranus is very restless. So I started to really develop a knack for like instruments and like playing instruments. Around that age. Venus is again relationships. It can be income, creativity. My Venus is at 27 degrees with, you know, achieving like financial stability through my corporate experience in my corporate career. But also there was a very significant relationship that began at age 27 that lasted four years. So that relationship, even if that relationship doesn't end up being your end all be all, it still very much informs the way you approach relationships going forward.
Speaker 1:Now we have the sun. The sun for me is at 23 degrees of Scorpio, and at 23 degrees I moved. Or at 23 years old I moved to New York and I really feel like that helped me start to establish my identity. Now we also have Mars, action, aggression and also sometimes, like Mars, as the lesser malefic, just creates challenges in someone's life, sudden challenges. And I have Mars in Gemini, gemini being the lungs. So actually at the age of nine, where my Mars is nine degrees, that's actually when I just started to develop shortness of breath and I was diagnosed with asthma around that time. Yeah, I was diagnosed with asthma around that time. And then we also have well with Gemini being local travel. I took a road trip, a huge road trip, with my family from Minneapolis to Las Vegas and I think that that is very much Mars and Gemini being activated.
Speaker 1:Jupiter opportunities, luck. My Jupiter is at 13 degrees. Leo, in the second house, second house of money. Now, I grew up in a very blue collar family, but at the age of 13, my Jupiter's at 13 degrees. Well, my dad was actually paralyzed in a motorcycle accident at that age. So 13 was by no means an easy year. My ascendant is at 13 degrees of cancer an easy year my ascendant is at 13 degrees of cancer. There was a wealthy family that kind of stepped in to help us through that time. So Jupiter in the second house is about resources. So I felt like you know there was definitely, you know that was a very like you know, selfless and kind act and like Jupiter can definitely bring sort of this feeling of like gifts and you know feeling of like there's still this, you know there's still a sense of abundance. So it's not like everyone's Jupiter year is like sunshine and rainbows, but it can still be. You know there's still like a silver lining.
Speaker 1:I think Saturn is setbacks, delays, maturity, responsibility. My Saturn is at 21 degrees in my seventh house of connections and relationships. So at 21 years old I was a junior in college. That was the most disconnected I ever felt from, like anyone, like all my relationships, all my connections. I felt very separated from them. Saturn is separation and in my seventh house of like one-on-one connection, it just felt like very distant at that time. So that was a very difficult year for me. So now we also have Uranus and I talked about Uranus. For me, seven years old, seven degrees, I do think that I radically changed the things that I liked to be doing every day, like ever, since the age of seven. I was just like playing instruments, playing the violin, playing the guitar, like all the time. But of course, uranus, you don't really know, it plays out in different ways in different people's charts. Maybe the degree of your Uranus, you suddenly become interested in science or innovation or you make a sudden pivot in your life. The degree of my Neptune I already talked about 12 degrees, age 12. There were all kinds of confusing medical issues that doctors could not figure out. So that was a very frustrating time. But it was also a time where I started to write music and songs. So it has a very creative energy. The degree of Pluto I talked about for me, 17 years old, definitely felt like a miniature death, I mean in some ways. I mean I remember just like feeling, you know, yeah, I was very sick at that time, but Pluto was in my fifth house of creativity and during the Pluto year I wrote like 30 songs in the span of a few months and Pluto in the fifth house can be like obsession with creativity. So I think that that was very important In my journey.
Speaker 1:Chiron Chiron for me is at 27 degrees of cancer in my first house, 27 years old. You know I talked about my Venus at 27. So there was a relationship that I started at that time. I think it was at least attempting to help me heal certain traumas within my family. Chiron and cancer has a lot to do with trauma in the family, but you know. But yeah, chiron, I know I'm talking a lot about health issues. I've had plenty of healthy years, but actually, chiron, 27 years old, I remember being in New York at that time and just having a sinus infection like the whole year. But I promise everybody I'm like much more on top of my health now. But yeah, so track your Chiron degree and I think you'll find that there was probably some type of health theme that came up.
Speaker 1:And then I've discussed my North node at zero degrees. Again age zero, definitely not finding my destiny, but age 30 to add N plus 30 to get the next cycle. So zero plus 30 is 30. At 30 years old opened my first astrology book. And then the ascendant again is the persona of the body. So again, age 13,. You know my father was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident which was really challenging. You could argue that the degree of my ascendant was significant, right, like it was, just like that was a total shift in like my entire life, you know, at 13.
Speaker 1:And then my midheaven is 19 degrees of Pisces, age 19,. You know, I did become a philosophy major in college and, like, I guess you could argue that philosophy led me here to astrology. But I wouldn't say that it's like. You know, it's not proof that the midheaven degree necessarily plays out in this degree theory accurately. So, you know, in sessions, again, it plays out every day. I use this degree theory Every day. There's like confirmation that, yes, this theme played out throughout this year and it allows me to do some quick predictions and birth chart readings where, like, someone's not necessarily coming to me for a transits reading, but I can still indicate, yes, these are the peaks and valleys related to this planet, or this is when a planet's theme really peaks. And then you add in the transits, which what's interesting is that the transits will also kind of corroborate that, oh, yeah, this theme is really manifesting for you at that time. So, yeah, so that's a brief window into that prediction, that predictive method. There's a lot more. There's a lot more about it. I think the last thing I would say about it for this episode and we'll of course go much more deeply into it through case studies in the future.
Speaker 1:But if you have a planet at a later degree, like 27, 28, 29, that's a Saturnian degree in my opinion, because at 27, 28, 29, and even the zero degree point to convert to 30, 27 to 30, you're kind of in the window of your Saturn return, more or less. So anytime a planet is like at those later degrees or at the zero degree, that planet or that planetary body or that sort of calculation points, like the North node, that will be wrapped up in your Saturn return, so that planet has a very karmic connotation, can be a reality check related to that planet. So if you have Venus at 29 degrees, venus is you know really that energy of Venus is peaking at the same time that you're having a Saturn return. So many of your Saturnian lessons have to do with Venusian themes relationships, money, creativity and ideally, if with that planet at a later degree, you're maturing into that planet's energy around your later 20s. So yeah, I mean and that again is a theme that I've seen play out in incessions so if a planet's at a very early degree, you're not going to be as conscious of that planet's energy at the age it's activated, but it is also very much activated throughout your early life. But then the next cycle, the N plus 30, so the second cycle you're able to more consciously leverage that planet, that planet's energy. So, yeah, I want to thank you for attending or listening in to today's episode. Hopefully you have a good action plan now for the Mars-Uranus conjunction.
Speaker 1:Again, it's very unruly, very unwieldy, but it definitely doesn't have to be if you're aware of it and aware of how. Just aware of like just staying, you know, keeping track of like where you're feeling agitated, how you're feeling, you know when you're feeling agitated and trying to mitigate that right now, and just giving yourself the capacity to make sudden changes in your life at the same time. And then, with these degree points, again reference your chart and just see if it tracks for you, see if these degree conversions track for you. So, again, taking the degree, converting it to the age. So 15 degrees 15 years old, 20 degrees 20 years old, adding 30 years to arrive at the next age. So 15 degrees would be 45, 75, 105, and so on.
Speaker 1:Just doing a little math there and then referencing the theme of that planet oh, did that planet play a dominant role in my life in that year and sometimes I have noticed that that planet activates about a year earlier. So if you have 27 degree Chiron, a 27 degree Chiron placement, maybe age 26, it would be more, more, so you know that theme would come up. But just play around with that and again, I think it's really it definitely adds a little bit a deeper understanding of, like the chronology and the cadence of your you know the cadence of your chart, the rhythm of your chart and like, and maybe if you have a bunch of planets at early degrees, like you experienced a lot of dominant, like a lot of major changes in your life early on. Or maybe if you have a bunch of planets at the early degrees and then a bunch at the later degrees, there was sort of a, maybe in your teenage years or like the you know those other degrees are activated there was a little bit more of a lull. Maybe your planets are sequentially just spread out. So every few years you have a. You know there's sort of this inflection point driven by that planetary theme. So again, see what you come up with.
Speaker 1:I would love some feedback on that to see you know again, like what you're, you know like what, just to gauge the accuracy of that for you. It just to gauge the accuracy of that for you. But you know, the reason I'm unveiling it here is just because I've done so many sessions 1500 readings in the last three years where you know it's been corroborated and it's been you could argue proven through the confirmation that I've seen from clients. So don't forget to subscribe to my sub stack and also, you know, give the show a rating and a review and, you know, subscribe to the show. You know I'm really happy with the support that you've all been showing so far and we're going to keep going. We're going to keep exploring new themes and every, you know, and again some of these key transits that are coming up.
Speaker 1:And yeah, it's, you know really it's really helpful. You know when, when we get feedback. So if you have any feedback, feel free to share it over email or even through my Substack and, by the way, if you're a Substack subscriber, one other thing to mention a feature and a benefit of being a subscriber a paid subscriber is that every month we do these group Zoom calls where we can talk about really like on a more personal level, like, what are you going through right now and how are you experiencing this transit? Um, and I think it's like very um, it's kind of reassuring to see like, yeah, like other people are are navigating these same themes, so, um, and you can ask me questions directly about your chart, so it's like, okay, well, how is my Aquarius rising, going to experience the Mars-Uranus conjunction? We can talk about that. So, yeah, thank you so much for tuning in to the latest episode of Astrology Unbound. I'm Evan Nathaniel Grimm and I will see you on the next episode, take care.
