Speaker 1:

Hey, there, it's Evan Nathaniel Grimm, and welcome to the latest episode of Astrology Unbound. Today, I'm going to be diving deep into the absolutely dizzying array of events that have unfolded so far in August. Thus far, the month has been pretty out there, and it has been packed with a lot of newsworthy stories, some of which have been catastrophic. We've also seen a lot of unrest and more, all of which deserves a closer look, but I'm not just here to describe the chaos. I'm actually going to explain how this is reflected in the astrology and how you can leverage this knowledge to make even better decisions and keep yourself in a good position. So, fundamentally, this is about what to do in the eye of the astrological storm that is August. Before I begin, though, be sure to check out my Substack newsletter for an in-depth breakdown of my predictions for the world my step-by-step manifestation guides for each full moon, intention-setting recommendations for new moons, educational content and more. Now there is a free subscription service through that, where you can still access the key themes, highlights, overviews tied to these major astrological events, but I also have a paid subscription service where you can access the horoscopes, assign by sign predictions, and you get access to a monthly call where you can ask me questions and we can discuss the transits that are currently going on.

Speaker 1:

So let's jump into the topic of today, which is really about how you can navigate the middle of August, and I had no intention to discuss this on this week's episode. Originally I was going to do more of an evergreen topic, something educational. But I'm a Mars Gemini and I love keeping track of the news. But even I've had trouble keeping up with just the volume of, again, headline-worthy stories, and they are very much in line with the predictions I was making in late july when I was channeling and forecasting the month of august. But it's like, because these predictions have played out, I think that necessitates sort of like a little bit of a team huddle here and like how do we sort of, on a personal level, make this time period a little bit of a team huddle here and like how do we sort of, on a personal level, make this time period a little bit easier? Because it's just full of you know, it's just like there's so much entropy right now. You know it's like out of order chaos, where it just feels like there's a turning right now that's happening and turning towards chaos, and I know I've talked about that before, like that was a theme in the middle of July. I talked about the Mars-Uranus conjunction and I still believe that that did define 2024. But August is a different type of chaos. It's a chaos that is sort of centered around travel, communication, cybersecurity and a number of other themes that I will go through shortly.

Speaker 1:

But I'm not like this is not meant to be just like an episode about the news. What I'm going to do is connect the news to again these higher level themes, the astrological transits, and then I'll actually give advice, which I think is, you know, what everybody hopefully everybody listening can see as being the benefit here. You know, is like, okay, despite everything that's happening at a macro scale, it's like I can still shape these energies to my advantage and, like, when I make predictions as an astrologer, I do feel like I have to balance out different considerations. You know, like when I was channeling for August, for example, I was trying to figure out how can I be candid and how can I be obviously objective in being candid, but also how can I avoid, you know, stoking fear or, you know, making people feel powerless, like that is definitely not. I don't think that's my role Like. I think that my job, ultimately, is to inform you of the transits, inform you of what may be coming so that you can make a more informed decision. So anyways, let's jump into the common themes so far in August and what that may portend for the middle part of the month.

Speaker 1:

So far in August and what that may portend for the middle part of the month incidents, religious themed, either, conflicts or lines of division, unrest and pushback against governments. We've had the delusional side of spirituality exposed again, which I know sounds really random with all the other themes I've been discussing, but I will talk about that in a bit which I know sounds really random with all the other themes I've been discussing, but I will talk about that in a bit and in terms of the news stories that specifically are coming out of these themes here or stemming from these themes and this is not going to do it justice, by the way, these are just some of the main stories that my followers were either sending to me or mentioning in the comments on my videos recently, or news stories that I came across. That really foot back to the transits and to the predictions I was making in late July. So we had the tragic plane crash in Brazil. We also have the UK riots and even, potentially, at some point, it looks like travel advisories for people traveling to the UK. We have the Mount Etna eruption in Italy. We have a Russian airfield hit by drones commissioned by Ukraine.

Speaker 1:

Tensions in the Middle East are continuing, if not mounting. The Trump campaign was actually hacked by Iranian hackers, according to the news stories I was reading and there were documents leaked out of that Japan had a massive earthquake and also a warning about a potential mega earthquake. And even here in LA there was actually an earthquake, which of course, happens all the time in Southern California. But you know, I actually, when I was in my house, like when it happened, like my shelves were, you know, shaking and I felt some tremors. My dog started barking, thinking there was like an intruder or something. But at least for the part of LA that I'm in, that's actually a fairly uncommon experience to experience those sort of rumbles. So obviously the Japan earthquake is a much bigger story.

Speaker 1:

But we also have astronauts quote unquote stuck at the international space station. I say quote unquote because people keep saying that they're stuck, but you know, if you actually dig into the story, it seems to be an issue with their spacecraft, which is manufactured by boeing, and there are some like malfunctions there, and so they may just have to stay there a little bit longer until either you know, at least from what I was reading like potentially another spacecraft comes to get them or whatnot, but I've heard that they would only be stuck as long as, maybe, well, until February of next year. But either way, that is still a big story. But either way, that is still a big story. We have a couple of Columbia University deans being fired over leaked text messages, a CrossFit athlete tragically drowned during a competition in Texas, and we also do have the story about a temporary market dip across the world, I mean the US, japan and actually that sort of temporary market dip was really brought on by some changes in, I believe Japan adjusted their interest rates and that triggered the whole sort of, again, temporary market, um, market I don't know if nosedive is the word, but dip at least. So that's a lot right. Oh, and the Taylor Swift concert yes, the Taylor Swift concerts uh, was canceled in Vienna after a terror plot was thwarted. And then we do have I mean, this is one of the biggest stories here the regime change in Bangladesh, the election disputes in Venezuela and the protests in Nigeria, and again, like I'm missing other stories. So if you're listening to this and you're like, well, you didn't mention this, well, I mean mean again, it's relative to most months. I mean august definitely feels again jam-packed and it's because we're moving through dense energies right now.

Speaker 1:

So now I'm going to explain what in the astrological transits is actually. What in the astrological transits is actually driving these sort of outcomes. And before I do that, just to take you inside the process of channeling and forecasting, you know the way that I do it is I look at, you know, I basically put a chart up on the screen for day one of the month and then I just like roll through the days and watch the planets move like in real time. You know I'll just click through, you know, through one day at a time, really quickly, just to see how, you know, all the hands on the cosmic clock are coordinating with each other. And think about astrology as a cosmic. You know a cosmic symphony as a cosmic symphony. So it's like these planets are all in a sort of beautiful dance with one another or they are all sort of striking different chords. Whatever analogy you want to use. There is some sort of coherence and energetic imprint or frequency that these planets all sort of emit together. It's like a chorus a chorus of planets and they are sort of singing simultaneously in harmonious and sometimes disharmonious ways. And as an astrologer I, and also a musician I basically see this chart as you know, this is sheet music like an astrological chart is just showing me you know what type of vibration this is emitting, and it's almost like I'm interpreting it that way and almost hearing it in a sort of a subtle sense and then speaking, just channeling and speaking out whatever I'm sort of hearing, in a way.

Speaker 1:

Late July, I was filming YouTube video. Like the visuals that I was getting were very upsetting. You know, I was getting visuals of something similar to the Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared in 2014. And if you go back to my YouTube video, I kept saying and dancing around that actual prediction. I just kept saying it feels like something is disappearing. Something is maybe disappearing into the uh, into the ocean, or some sort of, you know, airline incident is happening. And then, um, you know, another visual visual I was getting was the Titan submersible that imploded in June of 2023. You know, I think it was five people who died in that tragic event where you know they went down to, I think, view the wreckage of the Titanic and, yeah, I think they lost communication, you know, with you know the outside world and again, I haven't like read the full details recently, but essentially you know it resulted in an implosion of that submersible.

Speaker 1:

But I, just when I was looking at the transits for August, I kept feeling like there's a sense of like separateness, like people are cut off from one another, like someone can't be reached or like people can't access someone, or again, something's just disappearing, there's some kind of travel incident. And then we saw again in these news stories the plane crash in Brazil, the astronauts who are up at the International Space Station with no concrete return timeline. So as and I'm sure other astrologers can agree with this, no-transcript, so like bring an umbrella, but you know you don't want to risk exaggerating something and you know to use that analogy, like trying to tell people oh, there's going to be a tornado here, so you're going to have to go shelter in place, and then it doesn't happen. So as astrologers, psychics, etc. We're always trying to responsibly give forecasts and, by the way, this podcast episode is not meant to inspire more fear. Beyond that, you know, really, what I'm trying to say is, even though many of the sort of visuals that I was sort of seeing, or the energies that I was picking up on in the transits, even though those energies ended up really playing out in a way, it also shows, though, that we can sort of anchor ourselves around a legitimate fact base. A legitimate fact base, and we can look at astrology here as a reliable predictive method and say, okay, well, because these hypotheses were proven true, or because these theories were proven correct, we can. We basically have confirmation that the transits are denoting a certain meaning or a certain energy. Therefore, we, on a personal level, can plan ahead and ev we can channel the higher expression of them in order to, you know, continually find success in our lives and in other areas. Maybe we have to learn to embrace and accept, maybe, what we cannot change or accept where things may be a little bit less stable. So, anyways, let's actually walk through the transits quick Now.

Speaker 1:

I think one of the well, arguably the number one transit that has actually been contributing to a lot of these actually news stories is the Mars and Jupiter square Saturn aspect is the Mars and Jupiter square Saturn aspect. So theoretically, if you just take and isolate the Mars-Jupiter conjunction, that's actually quite positive in an archetypal sense. So if you just think about Mars and Jupiter together in any sign, just for a second, if you just think about that aspect, mars is our, you know, yes, it is aggression, but it's also our vitality and Jupiter is expanding that. So a lot of phenomenal athletes ironically well, we have the Olympics right now a lot of phenomenal athletes will have a Mars-Jupiter conjunction, square or opposition. And so you know again, that can be very positive if you want to compete or even actually travel. In some cases it can be very beneficial if you are trying to recover from some kind of physical injury.

Speaker 1:

Now, again, mars and Jupiter can sort of stoke these angry outbursts, like some people with Mars-Jupiter conjunctions are prone to those types of outbursts. But number one what makes this more challenging than, again, just the general signification of a Mars-Jupiter conjunction? What makes this more challenging is the fact that Jupiter is in its detriment. And well, mars is more in a neutral position here, but in Gemini, in that sign, it can lead to indecision or overstimulation.

Speaker 1:

Mars in Gemini is the most restless Mars placement and with Jupiter also in Gemini, there is an overload of information and so people are feeling overwhelmed, like they can't maybe keep up with the pace of life right now, and even people who otherwise are very steady and stoic and consistent, I think, are feeling a little bit more harebrained and like feeling like they're going off the rails, a little bit Like I'm sure most people listening to this podcast can relate to that feeling right now, feeling like you are overstressed or feeling like anytime you you know open up Twitter or some you know news website, you just start doom scrolling or you start reading all the stories that are piling up or, ironically, even listening to this podcast. I mean even in a way, just like listing out all the news stories. It's like you can see that feels like a Mars-Jupiter-Gemini in Gemini conjunction, because it's hyperactive, there's so much activity going on, but even on a functional level, as an individual, it's like I think it's harder for people right now to even like perform tasks because Gemini sees the many faces and justifications for things, for various courses of action. So, again, like people who operate in positions where they have like a thin margin for error or they are being relied upon to, you know, manage these high stakes situations, like they may be a little bit more stressed than usual, they may be less consistent than usual, and we also have these energies squaring Saturn. Energy is squaring Saturn. So, even though Mars and Jupiter together want to explore travel, experience, the social side of life, saturn is squaring and saying you know, no, we're going to limit you or we're going to create challenges. We're going to in Pisces with Saturn retrograde in Pisces. We're going to create challenges. We're going to um in pisces, with saturn retrograde in pisces, we're going to create inclement weather, especially through like rain or fog or something like that.

Speaker 1:

So the mars saturn square, the jupiter saturn square, just feels like, you know, it's a meeting of these sort of titans and it's more more of a head-on collision in some ways, or a head-to-head battle. And so we can see this square playing out through the travel delays, through the travel incidents and even through the tragic plane crash, the tragic plane crash and also, if you just isolate Mars for a second, that Mars squared to Saturn, that is also leading to the unrest and the regime change and the overthrow, or the attempt to overthrow certain governments, because Mars is the individual willpower and Saturn is the government or the institution. So there's a lot of tension right now in myriad ways. Tension with either, you know, trying like and maybe you've experienced this trying to get somewhere but having delays, and obviously that's also because of Mercury retrograde, but you know or wanting to say something to someone, but Saturn, squaring Mars and Gemini, is saying, well, you can't talk to them right now. So Saturn continues to bottleneck us. Saturn continues to block us, our drives, our desires, our ambitions, which is Mars, mars Gemini wants to do anything and everything and I have a Mars Gemini in my natal chart and it's retrograde and I definitely feel that and I resonate with that, that notion of wanting to do 100 things in one day, wanting to have 100 conversations, wanting to make multiple videos every day. But that square to Saturn is very frustrating because it is sort of negating those desires or undercutting them or again blocking them I guess is probably the right word or stymieing them, and that's creating a frustration in people. And so the Jupiter square, saturn, by the way, is really bringing on a lot of religiously themed conflicts and obviously and you can see that in many different countries and scenarios right now but the fact that Mars was even aligned with El Deberon on the Leo new moon, august 4th, just recently. You know even that, as I talked about in my YouTube video in late July, that was bound to escalate the tension, not only in the Middle East, but to deepen lines of religious division across the world, and we've seen many examples of that. So, yeah, I think also.

Speaker 1:

One more thing I would say there is that Mars, you know, in Gemini square Saturn can really cut, I think, contact. It can lead to the cutting off of contact between people, and that's why I kept visualizing something akin to the Titan submersible. It's because, like again, mars Gemini desperately wants that communication or that verbal connection with someone, or at least to connect ideas internally, but Saturn again is saying no, we're going to keep you at a distance, and so that is really contributing to the situation where the astronauts are up at the ISS not knowing exactly what their return date is, and of course, mercury retrograde does contribute to this. But even with Mars square Saturn, I think that's contributing to the leak of certain conversations, like what you saw with the Columbia University deans or even the Trump campaign. This is a time where either communications are just leaked out into the public, which is also partly because we did have that Mars-Uranus conjunction during the Mercury pre-shadow in mid to late July. But it's like, really, this Mars-Gemini square Saturn transit is showing us how you know, either when people you know send messages that are problematic, like those can be leaked which is a form of karma, I think, through Saturn, or there's like cyber security incidents from that Mars-Uranus conjunction that are starting to percolate now, where there are like hacks and again like the release of certain conversations that were previously private.

Speaker 1:

So another transit that's contributing to a lot of this is Uranus and Taurus. Uranus and Taurus it's been in Taurus for many years now but it's reaching, between now and next summer, eventually, the 29th degree of Taurus. Between now and next summer, eventually, the 29th degree of Taurus. Now it is going to retrograde this year at 27 degrees of Taurus on September 1st, but we're already in the zone of that station because Uranus is already at the 27th degree and Uranus and Taurus can break up the land. It can break up the Earth, it can literally shift the tectonic plates and it will square the Aquarius full moon on August 19th. So that is contributing to what you saw in Japan with the earthquake, what you see in LA with the tremors and unfortunately that August 19th full moon, I think will conjure a bigger earthquake.

Speaker 1:

And of course, uranus and Taurus can also be about overhauling your values or realizing that you want to progress your values, and I think that can be reflected in some of the governmental unrest. And Saturn and Neptune retrograde in Pisces is another factor here which is leading to a lot of the inclement weather that we're seeing, like the hurricanes in the Southeast US and the projection of a busier than usual hurricane season. It could also contribute to certain pathogens spreading. But again, I don't want to create too much fear around that, but I do think that the saturn neptune retrograde, any eventual conjunction, or at least you know, those planets will be in proximity, close proximity to each other next year in pisces in the spring. That may or may not and you know advance some sort of existing spread of a pathogen or it could coincide with the spread of some kind of new pathogen or a resurgence of a pathogen we thought had dissipated.

Speaker 1:

Also, by the way, with Saturn and Neptune and Pisces squaring, jupiter and Mars and Gemini, there's also just a lot of mutable energy right now, and no hate to mutable signs, by the way, but the mutable signs don't necessarily give us as a collective a clear center to hold on to or a clear anchor. Every modality has its time and place. There's no such thing as a bad sign or a bad modality has its time and place. There's no such thing as a bad sign or a bad modality or a bad triplicity or anything like that. But technically the mutable signs are better at making adjustments and adapting to things. They are not quite as consistent as a fixed sign. So when I see that symbolically you could think about, you know, consistent as like a fixed sign.

Speaker 1:

So when I see that you know symbolically you could think about oh well, even the mutable energy here is sort of creating a malleability in the earth and breaking up the tectonic plates. I mean, it has a lot more to do. That has a lot more to do with Uranus and Taurus, but I still feel like there's a lot of shifts going on. And anytime you talk about Gemini and Pisces together, archetypally, symbolically, those two signs together can create a sense of duplicitousness or a malleability around the truth and sort of an inconsistency, deceptiveness, and I think that is partly manifested in Venezuela. You have these questions around well, who actually won or what was the true count of votes. That has a very like sort of mirage-like quality to it, and I haven't been researching or diving deep into that story, by the way, so pardon me if I have a slightly superficial understanding of it, but from what I've gleaned it just feels like there's a lot of smoke and mirrors there and attempts to hold on to power and that feels very Gemini and Pisces. The truth can be distorted in a way through that.

Speaker 1:

Now the last thing I want to talk about and then again I'm going to get into the advice portion the last thing I want to talk about is Mercury retrograde. So I did discuss Mercury retrograde in depth last week, but just to explain it in the context of August so far and the news events that I've been going through and running through, mercury retrograde is definitely not helping the situation. It is going to square Uranus for a long time, actually for many, many weeks, from basically August 14th until early September, because it's going to station direct still in that square. So that Mercury-Uranus square occurred, you know, when it was direct during Biden's decision to drop off the ticket for 2024. It also, you know, I think it had a lot to do with the chaos tied to the CrowdStrike outage right, like that Mercury, the Mercury-Uranus square right is very I mean precarious.

Speaker 1:

It just doesn't feel like information is being held in a you know a clear sort of container. It just feels like it's sort of like bursting out randomly, like that's Uranus-Mercury. It's sort of these random jolts and bursts of information and surprising releases of information. But I think it creates a lot of technology-related issues and glitches, especially, and I think you might see that, especially during the retrograde square to Uranus and with us all living in the aftermath of the Mars-Uranus conjunction in mid-July.

Speaker 1:

Not only have we seen many stories in the news over the past few days about cybersecurity hacks and maybe even some of you listening have experienced that yourself like that situation of, or that sort of theme of, cybersecurity and leaks and hacks like that may continue. So Mercury retrograde is also, by the way, it is contributing to a lot of the travel issues and even tragedies. Some of the tragedies that have occurred, like the one in Brazil, now, that's obviously not just due to Mercury retrograde. So I want to be clear about that, because you know that would be a pretty serious mistake if an astrologer was attributing, you know, a tragic accident just to Mercury retrograde, because any time Mercury retrograde occurred, people would freak out. Remember that Mercury retrograde is three, almost four times sometimes per calendar year, so it's not in of itself an indicator of some kind of like cataclysmic event. I think that situation had a lot more to do with Mars and Jupiter and Gemini squaring Saturn and Pisces. I think that was the main contributing factor, because anytime you see, yeah, mars square Saturn, it just, I mean, it does increase the odds of like a collision.

Speaker 1:

And so, anyways, I want to shift gears now to the actual advice, because I'm sure there's some of you who are nerding out to like, oh, these are the transits that, oh, this speaks to this, this and you're connecting the dots with me. And there's other people who and this is totally fine but like there's other people who maybe don't actually want to get into the weeds of the news stories that have gone on so far that you've heard about or you know the sort of the analytics of it. You may just want to know, like, well, what is like, why like, what like? Why does this matter for me and what can I do about it heading into mid August? And, by the way, why am I even talking about mid August and not like late August. Well, number one is that we will get many of the most powerful aspects tied to these themes in the middle of the month. So I really see a lot of the I see all of these energies peaking between August 13th and 19th. So that's like a timeline I want to operate on for this section in terms of actually giving advice. We'll obviously discuss things following August 19th. We'll discuss the energies of late August in a future episode. You know if I, if I deem that necessary, but given where the new cycle, how the new cycle is playing out right now, I probably will want to do a bit of a situation room team huddle kind of thing.

Speaker 1:

But I want I want to focus mainly on the 13th through the 19th right now, because that really it's kind of. It really starts when the moon goes into sagittarius and it ends with the Aquarius full moon. So when, on August 13th, tuesday, we do have the moon, you know, entering Sagittarius and that's going to create a mutable grand cross. So we're going to have a Sag moon. Venus and Virgo, mercury retrograde in Virgo, saturn and Pisces, mars and Gemini, jupiter in Gemini. So that's a lot of mutable activity. And Sagittarius pertains to flight and the ruling planet, jupiter, is in Gemini square Saturn. So I think there's a couple things there really quick just to give some predictions. I think there's a couple things there really quick just to give some predictions.

Speaker 1:

I think that there will be something related to religion in the news, something related to higher education, and religious conflicts are definitely boiling up at that time in all kinds of locations, whether you think about it through the lens of, like, the Middle East or the UK. Like I said earlier, there are definitely very, very deep lines of division, as there always have been around religion. That I think will crest some sort of, maybe political drama I don't know if it's within the Democratic Party or something, but that may occur and I do think there will be a continuation of travel-related news stories. I'm not trying to say that it's something you should be freaking out about, but if I'm applying the principles of astrology, it does seem pretty clear to me that it's something you should be freaking out about. But I just, if I'm applying the principles of astrology, it does seem pretty clear to me that, like august 13th and 14th, that through some mode of transportation, whether it's like a boat or you know, I mean it could even just be like a story about about the airline industry, you know, because you know like there may be, like actually that could be part of that transit, like maybe some sort of result of an investigation into the Brazil plane crash will be released and you know people will learn more about what actually happened. Like I could see something like that playing out.

Speaker 1:

But after the moon goes into Sag, you know, does reach Capricorn eventually and builds up to, you know, the Aquarius full moon on August 19th, squaring Uranus. So I think August 19th is that peak of sort of randomness, shocks and surprises, shocks and surprises potential seismic activity and so on, but anyways, so that's why I've chosen to focus on these dates. And, of course, when you reach a full moon, the energy really becomes very palpable and potent and, in a way, electrifyingifying, but also overwhelming. And in this case, yeah, it's very unstable actually. But in terms of the advice number one, what I would say is get adequate sleep right now. The reason I'm saying that is because Saturn is retrograde in Pisces, neptune is retrograde in Pisces and Saturn is squaring off with Mars and Jupiter, like I said earlier. So Saturn is the culprit here.

Speaker 1:

I think Saturn is creating these really heavy situations actually in the news, heavy situations actually, you know, in the news. So all the news you're reading that feels heavy. I think that has a lot to do with Saturn and Pisces being sort of the spear point of that and during a Mercury retrograde with the squares to Saturn I talked about earlier by the way out and I talked about earlier by the way like if you drive, if you commute every day by driving or biking or motorcycling or boating or anything like, you should make sure that you have adequate sleep before you are like driving or something. This is. This is a really precarious time for things like that, for scenarios where people haven't slept enough or God forbid, with Saturn in Pisces, someone maybe drinking. I mean, I'm biased because I've been sober for three years, but practicing sobriety at a time like this is really smart and also getting adequate sleep will help you process the overwhelm because there is again an overstimulation, overload of information and, with Mars and Jupiter and Gemini and Saturn and Pisces is is exacerbating the situation because it is leading to, I think, insomnia for a lot of people, or sleepless nights or random panic attacks in the middle of the night. Again, I'm sure a lot of you would resonate with that. I'm sure a lot of you are feeling sort of confused by, like why am I waking up in a panic in the middle of the night?

Speaker 1:

I think that, while there are many factors behind why that could be, I do think it's what it's showing here is like it is a time where, with Saturn and Pisces, you just want to, like, really take care of, take care of yourself, establish a really clear routine. You know, again, really just make sure that you're getting the sleep that you need in order to process and manage, um, everything that's being thrown at you right now. Another piece of advice here would be to, you know, acknowledge the mercury retrograde and do those, do those sort of like blocking and tackling sort of strategies I talked about last week. You know, proofread a message before you send it. Um, build in extra time for travel delays. Hold off on a major contract negotiation. If you can hold off on a major purchase, if you can reflect on the past.

Speaker 1:

Direct more of your energy towards ongoing but unfinished projects. You know, revisit conversations that hold a lot of value that you may have overlooked before. And, as part of that, and in combination with the mars saturn square, you really should not be sending people any kind of message that you wouldn't want like screenshotted in the future or leaked in the future. I know that sounds a little ridiculous because many of your conversations are private by design, but whether it would be through a cybersecurity hack or just through somebody for some reason deciding to post a screenshot of something you messaged them, this is a very precarious moment when it comes to digital communication and, with Mars being in Gemini, people can be very nasty right now, very aggressive in their communication style and when they do like, when they say things that are either hurtful or denigrating or, you know, out of line, saturn in Pisces is kind of showing that there could be karma associated with that, like negative karma.

Speaker 1:

So maybe you say something to someone but it's documented somehow and then you feel a lot of shame around it, or you feel embarrassed for saying it and other people know that you said it to that person, or they know that you were gossiping or whatnot. So I mean, obviously, the advice of like don't say something you'd regret is well taken, you know, at any given time. I think right now, genuinely, you would. You know you would experience a lot of strife and trouble if you were to kind of like again say something that is just uncalled for. Also, some advice right now with the Venus-Saturn opposition that's coming up, which I didn't really talk about today, so I'm not going to dwell on this for long but the Venus-Saturn opposition I would say some advice here would be to well combined with the Mercury-Uranus square.

Speaker 1:

You should be on the lookout for potentially some surprising information that could change your perspective on a relationship in your life, any type of relationship, really. But if you have a sense that a relationship that you are invested in is, you know, sort of like up in the air, or it's 50-50 and they have mixed feelings about it, or you have mixed feelings about it, like I feel like in mid-august you should probably prepare for either you know your partner or you to just like change your tune quite quickly there, and for some people it could actually be information that helps you like double down and commit to somebody. But yeah, yeah, that Venus Saturn opposition is really calling you to, it's calling on you to um, you know, really make firm commitments to the people who are in your life, whether they are friends or business partners or romantic connections, and also when it comes to traveling generally. I think this is probably the top question that people would be asking me right now. I would imagine, um is, yeah, like, what should I do about traveling If you've been making all these like really you know grim predictions about August and they ended up sort of playing out in some way like, well, what do I do about that?

Speaker 1:

I would say that with any astrological mundane prediction or global prediction, you should refer to your own birth chart first of all, and that's why people go to see astrologers. But you should also to your own birth chart first of all, and that's why people go to see astrologers. But you should also use your intuition. So remember, like I said at the beginning of this podcast, think about me as a weatherman. I'm telling you that there's an 80% chance of rain in this region. So if you wanted to know again, is there actually going to be rain on my roof? Well, that's where you have to get a reading with an astrologer.

Speaker 1:

But also, at the end of the day, I'm only talking in probabilities here and I'm talking archetypally and thematically in a lot of cases. So I don't want you to prevent yourself from enjoying your life and doing the things that you've planned to do. It's just that you should bring an umbrella right to do. It's just that you should bring an umbrella right. So, like, for example, like you know, I have been traveling this week, even though I see all the transits that are going on, and I lean on my intuition in that case. At the same time, that's not to say that astrology is useless, of course, because again, again, you want to know what the probabilities are. You want to know is this a better day to you know, compete athletically, or is this a better day to ask someone out, like you want to put luck on your side and astrology can help you do that. But when you really are, operate as you're, operating, within those parameters of life, you still can decide whether or not to get in that car and go on that road trip or whatever. So I would say again this is definitely part of my advice here is follow your intuition. I will tell you, as an astrologer who has a job and a duty and a responsibility, to explain what I see to you.

Speaker 1:

I do think August 13th until August 19th are the most challenging days for travel and transportation. Now, I'm not trying to be cryptic, by the way. I'm not trying to mask or hide something really scary. I'm just saying, broadly speaking, those are arguably the most challenging days. So between August 13th and 19th, you know, if it's like I don't know, if it's like an elective trip that you could take any time and you're like I don't know, should I still take the trip? Like again, I'm not in the business of like giving you every listener right now like really hyper specific advice, because you all have unique charts. If you don't have to travel far, I feel like it's okay to postpone that or delay that. If you are traveling and you want to travel, I don't think you should stop yourself. If you really want to take that trip again, consult your maybe spirit guides or consult or just meditate on it, maybe draw some tarot cards. There are many different ways to put a fine point on your decision.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but I think that full moon in Aquarius August 19th is yeah, I think that's really when it all peaks. I think that's when it peaks and, you know, I think that probably will have a lot to do with earthquakes and maybe with Venus opposite Saturn, some kind of economic news that really shakes the markets in some way, because Venus in Virgo to me has a lot to do with work and workers and the economy. So I just think that Venus in Virgo does conjure a lot of themes around again work and economics. So yeah, oh, and I guess, one other quick prediction no-transcript, I don't know if he would like, I don't know if it'd be so drastic that he like decides to like step down from the presidency or something like that feels like a stretch to me, but it's not like impossible. But I think that something around his health and I know I've talked about his health a lot, especially in July and June when I was predicting the Mars-Uranus conjunction and the sixth would lead to a health debacle. But I think there may be a continuation of that story when Mercury is on its Chiron. I believe that's around August 17th or 18th. So yeah, just to summarize the advice here I believe that's around August 17th or 18th.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, just to summarize the advice here get adequate sleep, maintain a clear head. If that means sobering up, great, you have my full support there with, uh, you know, getting sober or being sober. But you know, keep a clear head, get sleep so that you can process everything that's going on, so that you can be a really consistent and safe driver. Don't send people text messages or DMS or anything that could be used against you or screenshotted. Be kind to people and I know that sounds again so cliche, but Mars and Gemini has made a lot of people very quarrelsome, so just don't be that person, don't contribute to the arguments. With the Jupiter-Saturn square I personally would not go anywhere near any kind of tension related to religion or religious ideologies and with Mars square, saturn, just know again that if you push too hard, if you push back too hard, if you um, you know, get really riled up about something like Saturn squaring is definitely going to scrutinize that and judge that. So just you know again, maintain a sort of a healthy temperament and so, yeah, I hope that.

Speaker 1:

I mean I hope that this was insightful and gave you some practical pointers and again, some timelines, which really is August 13th to 19th, and hopefully this gave you some explanation for you know again why it feels so crazy right now and why it's hard to even like, keep our thoughts sort of together. Right now. It just feels like everything is leaking out. I don't know, it's just like a very bizarre time. Oh, and that's like the last piece of advice is um, you know, I, I do think that, uh, there's a lot of vulnerabilities right now in the digital space, in the sense that, um, I think cyber security hacks are more likely at this time. So, you know, really protect your data and your information and just be hyper vigilant and keep track of that.

Speaker 1:

So, before I close this out, though, just a reminder to subscribe to my Substack newsletter, and that has all the new and full moon guides, my educational pieces and a lot more, even a monthly call where, again, you can ask me questions. And so, yeah, I wish you a very fulfilling and actually exciting middle of August. I mean, the Mercury Uranus square can actually be very, very genius and it can generate a lot of breakthroughs, and you could use that Mercury-Uranus square to invent something new or invent a new idea, or just innovate or be innovative and to allow for some kind of epiphany or flash of insight to come through. Yeah, you could solve a persistent puzzle in your life very quickly. So, yeah, I'm glad I remembered that piece, because I think that was another important aspect of this.
